Overview
When you receive or create a Planned Activity, Recommended Activity, or Work Order in Agworld, you can send it to Work Planner in John Deere Operations Centre.
Once the activity is in Work Planner and subsequently sent to the machine - it becomes available for completion (e.g., spraying) on compatible John Deere displays.
By sending activities to Work Planner, operators can access spray jobs directly from their equipment displays, reducing manual entry and improving the data accuracy and additionally increasing operational efficiency.
This guide outlines the process of sending activities from Agworld to John Deere Work Planner.
Note: John Deere round-tripping works only on Gen 4 or G5 displays.
Step-by-Step Instructions: Sending Activities
1. Select Activities in Agworld
Navigate to Workflow → Activities.
Switch to the ToDo view.
Check the box next to each activity you wish to send to John Deere Operations Centre.
2. Initiate the Send
Click the three dots icon in the top-right corner.
Select Send Workplans to John Deere from the dropdown menu.
3. Confirm Paddock and Machine Details
In the Send to Equipment pop-up:
Ensure paddocks match between Agworld and John Deere.
Select the appropriate machine.
Click Save & Send.
Your activities will now be sent to the Work Planner in the John Deere Operations Centre.
Monitoring Status of Sent Activities
You can monitor the outcome of your submission in the Status column on the Activities page in Agworld.
🔁 Processing: The data is being pushed to John Deere
✅ Sent to Provider Status: Activity successfully sent.
❌ Submission Error: Sending failed—contact the Agworld Customer Success Team for support. Please click the status to view more information on why sending failed.

Completing the Process in John Deere Operations Centre
1. Access the Work Planner
Go to Plan → Work Planner.
Locate your Planned Activities.
2. Send to Equipment
Select the fields associated with the activities.
Click the → Send to Equipment button.
3. Choose Equipment and Finalise
In the popup:
Select the target machine(s).
Click Send in the bottom right corner.
The work plans will now be queued for the selected machines. When the machine is running and connected to the network, the plans will download to the screen.
Automatic Activation and Manual Selection
If you have enabled Automatic Work Plan Activation on your Gen 4 or G5 screen, the planned activity will automatically appear when the machine enters the designated field boundary.
Alternatively, operators can manually select the activity:
Tap Setup on the bottom right corner of the display.
Select Planned.
Choose the activity from the list.
Tap OK to begin.
To set up Automatic Work Plan Activation:
Tap Setup on the bottom right corner of the display.
In the Work Setup screen, click the arrow in a circle (⬆️)
Ensure ✅ Automatic Work Plan Activation is checked. It's also a good idea to have ✅ Remove completed and deleted Work Plans checked as well. Click ✖️ to go back to the Work Setup screen.
The selected job will include the full tank mix, including carrier and product(s), at the predefined application rates.
