How to Apply an Express RX Template

This guide shows you how to apply an Express RX template in your workflow prescriptions page.

Step 1: Select Grower and Season

  1. Navigate to the Workflow Prescriptions page.

  2. Ensure the correct grower and season are selected.

  3. Click on Express RX.

    • If it says “RX created”, that means prescriptions have already been run for this grower/season.

    • You can still apply new ones.

Step 2: Filter and Select Fields

  • Use bulk select or filter by last sample date to choose fields.

  • The Variable Rate toggle is a visual filter:

    • Turn it on to only show fields participating in a variable rate program.

    • Turn it off to see all fields.

  • Once filtered, click Select All (or manually choose fields).

Step 3: Choose and Apply a Template

  1. Click Apply Templates.

  2. Review the default parameters from the template (e.g., min values, width, product, yield goal).

  3. Adjust any settings if needed.

  4. Click Apply.

    • The status changes to “Not yet created.”

Step 4: Create Prescriptions

  1. Click Create Prescriptions.

    • If a field is waiting on soil sample results, it will be flagged and held until results are available.

    • This ensures accuracy and automation.

  2. The status will change to “Generating RX.”

    • Refresh the browser to see updates.

    • Processing time: 1–3 minutes depending on field size and sample points.

  3. When complete, the status updates to “RX created.”

    • The counter in the All tab updates to show the total number of created prescriptions.

Step 5: Convert RX into Recommendations or Work Orders

  • Once RX creation is finished, go to the Converting section.

  • From here, prescriptions can be converted into recommendations or work orders for execution.

Tip: Smaller fields or those with fewer samples run faster. Keep refreshing if you don’t see updates right away.
