Billing system changes in 2020
As of the 1st of April 2020 in Agworld Australia and the 1st of June 2020 in Agworld New Zealand and South Africa, Agworld has revamped its billing and payment systems to allow customers added security and ownership of their payment details. Customers can now manage their own payments with the choice of Credit Card or Bank Transfer through a personal billing portal. As always, Agworld customers can call into our success team to make payments
During the transition period to the new Agworld billing process, all invoices and billing portal setup details will be sent by email to the company administrator or accounts contact rather than getting processed through the shopping cart on our website.
To ensure that these emails get sent to the right person and most up to date email address, please confirm the accounts/billing contact details by emailing email@example.com.
How to renew your Agworld subscription
1. Set up your billing portal
30 days prior to renewal, the main company admin or accounts contact will receive an email with a link to set up a billing portal, as well as a projected (draft) invoice with the trading name, company address and renewing subscription. Click on this link to set up a username and password.
2. Add payment method
In these 30 days, please add a default credit card payment method via the billing portal or by calling the Agworld team in time for your renewal date (stated on the projected invoice).
On your billing date, the default credit card on file will be used to auto-renew the subscription.
You will also receive an invoice with an invoice number on your billing date. To renew via bank transfer, please contact Agworld Customer Success for the bank details.
Billing system connection to the Agworld shopping cart (coming in 2021)
As a next step, in 2021, we will release the added billing connection to the Agworld shopping cart that will provide customers with the ability to self-serve completely through the website.
We are confident that these optimizations will result in a quicker and easier annual subscription renewal process for our customers.
