Agworld's Price Management list has been designed to make it easy to update and keep updating your planned costs for Products, Seeds and Operations.

If you haven't read our other article about Price Management, I'd suggest reading that before continuing on here.

In planning, there are a few ways to refresh your planned costs:

  • Update prices for a single field
  • Update an entire season plan
  • Update your crop templates¬†

Update prices for a single field

If you've received a new quote for input pricing, or would like to tweak your costs in your field plan, after you've updated your Price Management list, you can apply these new prices onto a field plan in two clicks. Click on Actions in the top right of the field plan and choose the first option Refresh Field Plan Pricing. This will update all input costs (Products, Seeds and Operations) to your current Price Management list.

Update an entire season plan (all fields)

To update an entire season plan to the most recent costs in your Price Management list, click on the the Cog button in the top right of the page and choose Refresh pricing for this season. This will update the costs in every single activity of your plan and cannot be reversed. This includes all Products, Seed and Operations.

Update your crop templates

To update your existing templates with new pricing, hover over Planning on the website and click on Crop Templates. Find a template you'd like to update and click on the grey Edit button. Under Page Actions on the right, there is the option to Refresh Pricing. This will update the costs in every single activity of your plan and cannot be reversed. This includes all Products, Seed and Operations.

Once you've got all of your prices up to date, and you're ready to share the plan, you can report on the data:
